Thackery's, a distinguished dog breeder based in Essex, has been at the forefront of responsible animal breeding since 1970. What began as an unforeseen pet pregnancy has evolved into Thackerys puppies that priorities the health and well-being of every animal under our care, from birth through to their integration into their permanent homes.
Founded by Susan and Stephanie, Thackery's is more than just a breeding establishment. It represents a legacy of animal lovers, with even the youngest generation, represented by Bradley, actively participating in the day-to-day care of the animals. This commitment extends beyond canines. The Thackery's smallholding is also home to a rescue pony, sheep, and geese, further underscoring our holistic approach to animal welfare.
It is our staunch belief that the welfare of our animals supersedes all else. They are family. Every animal at Thackery's is assured optimal care, nutrition, and comfort.

After months of looking for our little puppy we came across Thackery Kennels and I can honestly say we are so happy that we found this breeder. We found our little Cockapoo puppy Chester and have been so pleased with the kind support and help that we were given before and after we got him. We have been given so much advice and have been told that we can always call them if ever we have a problem with Chester. We were allowed to see Chester's Mother And Father on visiting him.
